About Paul
Welcome! I’m Paul Sikkema, owner/operator of Upper Miss. Wildlife Artistry(UMWA). I am a graduate of Iowa State University and I received my Taxidermy training from Kindred Spirits School of Taxidermy in West Burlington, Iowa.
My passion for the outdoors and wildlife has led me to pursue the adventure of taxidermy. I am an avid hunter and fisherman, and have logged countless hours in the study of wildlife in their natural habitat. UMWA is licensed in taxidermy in the State of Illinois. We also have our Federal Migratory Bird, Fish and Wildlife Permit.

Located in Fulton, Illinois, a small rural town along the Mississippi River, UMWA is a reputable full-service taxidermy studio. Using time-proven techniques, the newest products, and highest quality materials technology can offer, our goal is to produce quality taxidermy work, finished in a timely manner. We strive for realistic, artistic, and creative craftsmanship in absolutely everything. In-house tanning ensures you a quality tan that will last a lifetime.
Don’t be afraid to ask about a job; if you have a project we feel we are not able to do, we’ll tell you up front. We’ll even guide you to someone who can help you and handle the arrangements, if you wish.
